Yours Truly was Co- Founded by Julia and Owen, with a vision to create images that resonated in a way that felt special to us and the couples that we worked with. We wanted to bring more art and soul into the work we create, rather than just following a standard copy paste approach. Why? Ultimately we want your story to be more than just photos we want our couples to have memories to last them a lifetime
We work alongside a small team of highly creative and skilled individuals, who share the same passion and eye for storytelling as we do. who are all dedicated to creating beautiful and timeless images. Everyone who works with us creates work in our signature style and approach, we aim to work as a unified team. MEET JULIA
meet julia
Photography and art has always been a huge passion of mine and I now have well over 12 years of Photography experience under my belt. Having graudated with a bachelors of fine art from Monash University, where I specialised in all photo. Spending countless hours in the dark room and labs truly only soldified my love for all things creative.
For me shooting on film has always been as much about the process as it is the final result. Allowing me to slow down and focus on the truly meaningful moments both in work and life. Coming from an Arts background my approach has always been somewhat unconventional and creative; an approach that I have definitely carried over into my wedding work.
In my down time away from weddings you will find me exploring with my film camera, always chasing light or tending to my plants and veggie patch

I come from an engineering background but I have always had a passion for photography. I entered the photography industry as a teen; doing photos for events, weddings which then expanded into my own business. My engineering background has instilled in me a meticulous attention to detail and a love for problem-solving. I approach photography with a methodical mindset, constantly seeking innovative solutions to capture the perfect shot. In my downtime I love to bake bread, spoil my cat Yuki and work on my various engineering projects. Which includes building my own film camera and software programs.
